TABAN GIDA PROMOTES IDEAS THAT WILL CHANGE OUR FUTURE
Taban Gıda, the leader of the wheat supply market in Türkiye, which carries out transit trade to almost 20 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe and American markets, has become the main sponsor of İstanbul Kültür University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Entrepreneurship Department’sStart-Up Festival. The 3rd Start-Up Festival, held this year to encourage fast-thinking entrepreneurs for a rapidly changing world to come up with ideas about the future with passion and inspiration; the top 3 ideas from the projects to be evaluated will be awarded. The application process of Start-Up Festival, which will create new opportunities for the youth, will continue until 18th of March.
Taban Gıda, which captures the dynamics of the developing and changing world with the vision of an innovative world, assumed the main sponsorship of the competition that is organized to pave the way for new initiative ideas and, to support the upbringing of young entrepreneurs. This year’s concept of the competition, which is held to encourage fast-thinking entrepreneurs for a rapidly changing world to come up with ideas about the future with passion and inspiration and to offer new opportunities to young people, is “Ideas to Change the Changing World”… Hasan Hacıhaliloğlu, CEO of Taban Gida, who expressed his ideas about 3rd Start-Up Festival, said, “It put a lot of work on the shoulders of the young people to progress the world towards for the better in all spheres. As Taban Gıda, we are very happy to lead such projects that open up new horizons for young people. We are ready to do our best to bring their brilliant ideas to life. In this direction, we, too, take initiative for a liveable and sustainable world.” .
The 3rd Start-Up Festival, organized with the concept of “Ideas to Change the Changing World” due to the radical and devastating changes in the world, is open to all high school, associate degree and undergraduate students from Türkiye. All the processes of the competition, organized to encourage young people to create projects about the future with passion and inspiration, were created online. The application process of the competition, which began in February, continues until March 18. The prize ceremony of the competition, where the ideas prized will be awarded, will take place on April 9 to 10.
Asst. Prof. H. Nazan Çağlar, Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship, who took over the execution of the Start-up Festival, remarked: “The reason why we chose this concept this year is that with the introduction of a new concept into our lives every day and the emergence of new technologies, we can interpret and reflect on our changing world and reflect on this world to emphasize the importance of young people who can lead the change and to enable them to have a voice in this new world order.”.
